  • Question
Can you help with my bankruptcy?
    • Reply by Admin

Having our experts on your side while you’re going through a bankruptcy can almost be the best thing for you. Most lawyers don’t advise their clients properly of the challenges they will face after they file for bankruptcy. A bankruptcy   can stay on your credit report for 7-10 years. Most lenders and banks won’t allow you to be approved for a mortgage until the bankruptcy is discharged for at least 3 years.  One of the best things you can do before or during a bankruptcy is to establish new credit. You can establish new credit during and before while your credit will still allow you to get approved or little money down. Normally your credit takes a hit during the bankruptcy and most creditors don’t extend credit during that period. Come to the experts we can help.

  • Question
    What is a credit bureau?
    • Reply by Admin

A credit bureau is an agency that collects and  sometimes sells information about the creditworthiness of individuals. A credit bureau does not make any decisions about whether a specific consumer should be extended credit or not. However, it does collect information that it considers relevant to a person's credit habits and history, and uses this information to assign a credit score to indicate how creditworthy a person is. When a creditor approaches a credit reporting agency to inquire about a particular person, they are sold a credit report which contains all the information relevant to the person and the credit score calculated by the agency. The 3 main credit bureaus in America is Transunion, Equifax and Experian.  The 4th unofficial bureau is Innovis Data Solutions.

  • Question
    What is a credit score?
    • Reply by Admin

A credit score is a numeric value used by lenders/creditors as an indicator of how likely you are to repay your loans or obligations. Your credit score is generated by a mathematical formula utilizing the data from your TransUnion, Equifax and Experian credit bureaus based on your payment history, outstanding debt, length of credit history, the amount of credit used compared to the amount of credit available and severity and frequency of derogatory credit information such as bankruptcies, charge-offs, judgments, and collections. Lenders have been using credit scores as part of the lending decision for over 20 years.
